Ron has just completed Crikey Steve Irwin, the likeness is brilliant, The Phantom, Pied Piper of Hamlyn with all the rats, 2 more archangels, a magical dragon that is approx 15 to 20 feet long, Australia’s new baby elephant who is absolutely gorgeous, shark, octopus, mermaid, we now have Elvis, Michael Jackson to name a few oh an Miss Piggy has joined us, with Kermit of course . As you can see Ron hasn’t been wasting any time he has increased the sculptures like you wouldn’t believe he never ceases to amaze us all with his creativity. Photo’s coming soon.

Well what a pleasure it was to meet HG Nelson down in The Chambers of The Black Hand. We are to be featured in the Bush slam on the ABC later in the year so it was very exciting to be a part of it.

Over the past 3 months Ron has completed the new Egyptian Chambers plus three spectacular biblical paintings. His latest masterpeice is a 10 feet high seated Budda painted gold, a disc thrower life size, a weeping maiden, a tower of swordfish and a leaping black jaguar. Every day is a new experience of Ron’s amazing talent, he never ceases to amaze our guests. If you are revisiting you will find a lot of new carvings amongst the older ones, if there is a space Ron with endeavour to add more. In Rons spare time (while watching TV) he also carves emu eggs there is no limit to his talent

We now have approx 350 carvings plus paintings and Ron has just returned from overseas full of new ideas and enthusiasm, straight back into carving. Each day there is new surprise.

Ron has just completed a new egyptian chamber like no other (apart from in Egypt) The colours and sculptures are unbelievable. Keep an Eye out for the new photographs we will be adding. We are in the process of having a new DVD taken and it will be available in September. We also hope to have the shop up and running within the next few weeks.

Our Jewelry Shop – to the best of our knowledge our opal shop is the only shop 11.2 metres undergrounf in the sandstone level of an opal mine this – will soon be online as well.
We are setting up a store on this site so that you can purchase black opal jewelry without leaving your seat plus enjoy the new carvings as they are completed at Chambers of The Blaack Hand in Lightning Ridge
